London, Aug 10: Harbhajan Singh's run in English county cricket seems to be getting better by the day.

The Indian off-spinner was the star performer for English county club Surrey as he took 11 wickets in the match to help them win by four wickets against Kent in the County Championship Division match at the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury on Thursday.

Harbhajan followed up with his first innings haul of 5 for 34 with a 6 for 57 in the second innings for match figures of 11wickets for 91 runs.

In addition, Harbhajan also contributed with a vital innings of 29 in the Surrey second innings to help them chase down a dodgy target of 107. Promoted to number five in the batting, the Indian ace hit five boundaries in his 22-ball knock to take Surrey to victory.

Electing to bat first, Kent were bowled out for 160, but managed to restrict Surrey to 215.

Harbhajan then took six wickets as Kent managed to post 171 in their second innings courtesy of James Tredwell's 50.Chasing a target of 107, Surrey were reduced to 47 for 3, before Harbhajan chipped in with a blazing knock of 29.

It has so far been a dream run for Harbhajan in the English county with a haul of 26 wickets in four matches at an average of 14.80 in the County Championship Division One matches.

Though Harbhajan is not part of the Indian squad for the seven-match one-day international series against England he has been named in the squad for the Twenty20 World Championship to be held in South Africa in September.
