Udupi, Aug 14: BJP District Minority Morcha has expressed apprehension over replacing Anwar Manippady who served honestly as chairman of state Minority Board by the state government.
Anwar Manippady, popular Muslim leader from coastal district while serving as chairman of state Minority Commission has travelled across the state, thereby streamlined the working of department affairs.
He has created hope of security among the minority community by taking action on the corrupt personnel who were found to be swindling crores of money under several plans for the past many decades.
He has sacked the corrupt officers of Chitradurga district who were found to be cheating the beneficiaries. He has taken action on officers of Hassan and Raichur, for their alleged role in cheating in digging an open well related to some individual.
He has recommended Lokayukta to take action on the corrupt officers of Koppal, Bidar and Gulbarga too. Moreover he has taken action on those officers who were cheating in the name of minority community in Chikmagalur.
Minority morcha president Gerald Fernandes has urged CM Kumaraswamy and deputy CM B S Yediyurappa, to re-instate Anwar Manippady who has been made the scapegoat by the vested interests for their own gain.
