Marathi film 'Nagpur Adhiveshan...' doesn't spread any message: Ajinkya Deo

Mumbai, Nov 21 (IANS): Actor Ajinkya Deo, son of veteran actors Ramesh and Seema Deo, unveiled the trailer of "Nagpur Adhiveshan- Ek Sahal" here, and said the Marathi film offers viewers "pure enjoyment", instead of giving a message.

"Just as the name 'Nagpur Adhiveshan - Ek Sahal' suggests, it's a trip of joy. It will touch you and perhaps make you realise the truth... This film make you laugh and at the same time, give you an insight into any change that is possible in our society," Ajinkya said at the launch.

"We haven't put in any seriousness to say what is right or wrong. Let the audience decide on their own. The film's main motive is pure enjoyment and doesn't intend to give any message," the actor added.

Ajinkya, who has earlier acted in Hindi films such as "Aan: Men at Work" and "David", plays a member of parliament in "Nagpur Adhiveshan- Ek Sahal". He is seen chanting the 'Chalo Nagpur' slogan in the trailer.

The actor said politicians will relate to his character.

Veteran actor Mohan Joshi will be seen in an out-and-out comic avatar in the movie, directed by Nilesh Raosahib Jalamkar.

Presented by Vidarbha Pictures, the film, releasing on December 11, also stars Vinit Bhonde, Chetan Dalvi, Amol Taale, Sankarshan Karale, Dipali Jagtap, Sneha Chavhan, Makarand Anaspure and Bharat Ganeshpure.
