Mangaluru: St Aloysius PU College conducts cultural fest Pre – Unique

Mangaluru, Nov 21: St Aloysius PU College inaugurated a two day intellectual and cultural fest Pre – Unique 2015, a unique platform for pre – university and high school students on November 20 at 8.45 am at the college pretorium with the lighting of the lamp.




















"Culture is an integrated part of our society and will have to enhance our ‘antharang’ to develop creativity," quoted Dr Leela Upadhyaya, chief guest and academic advisor, Sharada Group of Institutions during the occasion.

RJ Anuraag, an alumnus of the college and renowned radio jockey of 93.5 Red FM, the guest of honour said that participation alone is not enough but there should be a determination to win. The president of the function Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, rector of St Aloysius Institutions inspired the competitors to develop their talents.

B H Tanvi Rao, II PU student of St Aloysius PU College, a talented dancer, choreographer and an upcoming actor was felicitated at the occasion. 10 high schools and 17 PU colleges registered themselves for this mega event. Vandana K C, convener welcomed the gathering and Maria D’Souza, convener proposed the vote of thanks.

Also gracing the dais were the vice principal Rekha Alva, conveners Alwyn Saldanha, Inas Dias and student conveners Relston Lobo, Alpitha Pejavar, Bimdushree R, Sourav Patage and Limus Quadros.
