Mangaluru, Nov 23: State health minister, U T Khader, has expressed resentment at the statement of union law and justice minister, D V Sadananda Gowda(DVS), that a conspiracy has been hatched within the Congress against home minister, Dr Parameshwar. He said he would personally raise this topic with Gowda and seek clarification.
Speaking to media persons in the city on Sunday November 22, Khader hailed Parameshwar as a seasoned politician and capable leader, who has been managing the ministry of home in an efficient manner. At the same time, he said he has lot of respect for DVS. He however, said that DVS was not right in making the above comment during his visit to the house of Harish, who was slain when moving in a motor bike recently.
Khader noted that the Sangh Parivar, which itself was behind the above murder, is now trying to project as if it is sympathizing with the victim's family. He said that what we talk and what we practice should be the same. At the same time, he exhorted the people to stop whipping up passions through speeches, issuing inflammatory statements, and posting provocative material in social websites.
About having been divested of the responsibility as in-charge minister of Kolar district, Khader said he was happy the way he handled it, and expressed the view that minister, Ramalinga Reddy, who has taken over this responsibility, is senior to him and more experienced. Therefore, he said he expects Reddy to discharge duty as in-charge minister of Kolar in a better way.
