Mangalore, Aug 16: ‘Karavali Musicians' Forum’ has been formed to unite the musicians of coastal district of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, said Tonse Pushkal Kumar, organizing secretary of the Forum.

While addressing the media persons at the press club here on Thursday August 16, he said that amateur and professional musicians of this region have come together under the forum, to contribute worthy for the society besiding to promote their talents, he informed.

The forum will be inaugurated on Monday August 20,  in the Town Hall. N Vinay Hegde, president of Nitte Education Trust will be presiding over the function and Dr Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva's Education Trust will be inaugurating the programme. Manohar Prasad, journalist of Udayavani Kannada daily will be the chief guest of the occasion. Wilfy Rebimbus, honorary president of the Forum and music director Charan Kumar will be present on the occasion, he added.

Office-bearers of the forum Sadashivdas Pandeshwar, Satish Suratkal and Muralidhar Kamath were present at the press meet.
