Mangalore, Aug 18: The American library of the U S Consulate General, public affairs section, Chennai will be organizing a two-day exhibition here on Tuesday August 21.

Vice-chancellor of Mangalore University K M Kaveriappa will inaugurate the exhibition at S D M Law College. 

The exhibition will be open on August 21 and August 22 between 10 am to 7 pm and the said exhibition will feature resources and services of the library shown by a power point presentation. A book exhibition, video-corner and poster show on bio- adversity and intellectual property will also be held. 

At the exhibition the staff will provide the information on how the people from outside Chennai can access the library’s extensive resources via mail and other means. Membership enrolment for individual and also for institutions will be offered on the spot. 

Frederick J Kaplan, consul for public affairs will participate in the inaugural function.  Moreover ‘A Closer Walk’ a 90-minute documentary on HIV/AIDS will be screened at the inaugural function.
