UAE, Aug 23: Thumbay Moideen, president of Gulf Medical College received appreciation and award towards progress in Healthcare and Medical Education from House of Lords, UK. A grand ceremony was held recently at the House of Lords, United Kingdom with various well-known personalities attending the award presentation ceremony. Lord Adam Patel of Blackburn handed over the memento and praised the efforts of Thumbay Moideen in the field of Healthcare and Medical Education.
The programme was organized by the Progressive Muslims' Forum, United Kingdom and sponsored by AOC International U K "sharing of international good practices in healthcare and education and celebrating the achievements of Muslim community.
Gulf Medical College, Ajman is recognized and approved as an institution for higher education by the Ministry of Education, UAE. GMCA is listed in world directory of Medical Schools by WHO and also listed in IMEd under the auspices of FAIMER. GMCA is offering MBBS degree programs with a capacity for 60 students and BPT programmes with a capacity for 25 students with limited seats for both boys and girls of all nationalities.
