Mumbai, Aug 24: Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, one of the best comedy films in the history of Indian cinema, will have a sequel.
24 years ago, director Kundan Shah made an incredibly funny satirical comedy with talented actors like Naseeruddin Shah , Ravi Vaswani, Pankaj Kapoor and Om Puri .
Now, producer Firoz Nadiadwala is keen to produce the film’s sequel. The movie will once again be a satirical comedy with jabs at the corrupt system in the present times.
Kundan Shah is reported to have already completed the sequel’s script. He himself will direct the movie.
The film’s cast hasn’t yet been finalized.
Besides ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, Nadiadwala is set to produce a number of movies including yet another sequel to Hera-Pheri.
