Bengaluru, Dec 20: MT Educare's Robomate App, which consists of free video lectures of expert faculty, was launched nationwide, giving an additional tool to students to excel in their studies. It was also launched in Bengaluru on Saturday, December 19.

Kimmane Ratnakar, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, who was the chief guest said, such initiatives are necessary to prepare children to tap the potential in the future.

Mahesh Shetty, Chairman of MT Educare Ltd, has been striving to make quality education accessible to students since the last 33 years. His vision is to reach out to every child of India. The Robomate App is his brainchild and he believes that technology should be leveraged to enhance education.

Students, through this app, can get full access to some of India's best faculty in their preparation for entrance exams such as IIT, CA, MBA or Board examinations such as Karnataka State Board PU, CBSE and ICSE.They can learn subjects at their own pace and place. In today's fast moving world, it can help students save precious travel time and study at their own convenience.

Sujit Kumar, key management member and trustee, MT Educare Charitable Trust (MTECT) said "The Robomate App has video classes by best teachers and the entire content is digitalised in a state of art studio. Whatever is in the curriculum is minutely brought into this digital format. Regarding connectivity issues in Tier II and Tier III cities, Sujith said the content was light and could be downloaded over 2G and 3G connections. The Robomate App can be downloaded from Google play store on https://goo.gl/ZYw7vl. The App currently works on all Android platforms. The versions supporting iOS and Windows are expected to be released soon."

Kendriya vidyalaya's follow CBSE syllabus across the country, doesn't issue free books to its students. The children of Central and State govt employees get first preference in admission because of their frequent transfers. Here, from Lower group to higher group employees children get admitted and all students treated equal.Fees also very nominal. No poor or rich question arise. You may be looking at the students who study in private CBSE schools who charge higher fees from the parents. Do private CBSE schools issue free books ?
