Goods rickshaw and motor bike collide - both riders serious

Puttur, Dec 21: After a Pulsar motor bike and a goods rickshaw got involved in head-on collision at Subrahmanya Cross near Uppinangady in the taluk on Sunday December 20, both the drivers suffered serious injuries and got admitted into a hospital.

Ibrahim, a resident of Koila Janata Colony, and Siraj, son of Razack from Bolmuda in Hirebandady village suffered injuries in this incident.

Ibrahim, who works for Aunavi Shamiyana at Adoor, had removed the Shamiyana set up near Math, Uppinangady, and was carrying it for being installed at Nekkilady, when the accident occurred. A motor bike hit the goods rickshaw at Subrahmanya Cross, resulting in extensive damage to both the vehicles, and serious injuries to the riders. Siraj happens to be a student of Sri Ramakundeshwara college.
