Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (SM)

Mangalore, Aug 27: ‘Crossroads 2007,’ the inter-collegiate competition was organized by Crossland College in Brahmavar, near here recently.

SDM College in Ujire bagged the overall championship and Alva’s College in Moodbidri was the runners-up, according to a press release.

Different events were also organized. In English elocution Govind Padmasoorya of St Aloysius, Mangalore bagged the first place while Akram M of SDM College, Ujjire secured second and third place was bagged by Charith B of Dr NSAM First Grade College, Nitte.

In Kannada elocution Yashashwini Amin of SDM Law College, Mangalore secured first place, Prasad Cherkadi of Alva’s College, Moodbodri secured second and third place was bagged by Vidyashree, SDM College Ujire.

In folk dance SDM College, Ujjire got first place while second place was bagged by Alva’s College, Moodbidri and St Aloysius College, Mangalore secured third place.

In Group Song first place was secured by SDM College Ujire second by Alva’s College, Moodbidri and third by Govt Women’s College, Udupi.

In quiz competition  SDM Law College, Mangalore got first Alva’s College, Modbidri secured second and third place was bagged by St Aloysius College, Mangalore.
