District Congress seeks expulsion of KPCC member, Bhujanga Shetty

Udupi, Dec 29: The district Congress committee here has sent recommendation to the president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), to expel KPCC member, B Bhujanga Shetty, from the party. The district Congress said that Bhujanga Shetty had indulged in anti-party activities during the legislative council election held on December 27.

At the same time, Brahmavar block Congress committee former president, Birti Rajesh Shetty, and former treasurer, Harish Shetty, Cherkady, have been expelled from the party by the district Congress committee for anti-party activities.

All these leaders had openly extended support to former MP and rebel Congress candidate for legislative council election, Jayaprakash Hegde, in the council election.
