Mangaluru, Jan 3: It was indeed a memorable evening of entertainment as composer and singer Lancy Henry Moras presented his 8th Musical Nite at Kalangaan here on Sunday, January 3.
The event was organized by Moushmi Creations. The nite titled ‘Sumadhur Sangeet Sanz’ was part of 169th Monthly Theatre.
Lancy Moras nite enthralled the audience with high class singing performances by Lancy Moras, Anita D'Souza, Sangeetha Balachandra, Ivy D'Souza, Muralidhar Kamath, Ashwin D’Costa, Senet D’Cunha, Clerita Lobo, Varun Goveas, Leonida Moushmi, Vas sisters from Dubai, Melissa Pinto and debutant Wilfy D’Sa. ‘Pandra Varsam Borthana' 'Milan Mogachem' 'Hanv Narl Go' 'Fonda Voyr' 'Punar Mog' 'Tu Ye Lagim Sanjechya Vellar' and a special song by Lancy on father-children relationship and love were part of the 15 songs sung during the nite.
Comedy skits in between the nite were performed by Cyril Fernandes and Roshan Crasta which sent the audience into laughter.
Muralidhar Kamath of ‘Murali's Band’ rendered music with his team of musicians and two violinists from Cochin.
The lyrics were written by Wilson Kateel, Melwyn Kolalgiri, Chikka Pangla and Lancy Henry Moras .All the tunes were composed by Lancy Henry Moras.
The nite was compeered by three masters of ceremony, Roshan Crasta from Paldane, Preetham Noronha from Pajir and Elson D'Souza from Hirgan. Lucky winners were given prizes brought by 'Three Kings' on the feast of Three Kings.
Before the musical part of the nite began, Eric Ozario released Herry Correa's CD 'Ami Nachyam' in the presence of Karon Correa. Arunraj Rodrigues introduced the CD.
