Sensing trouble police lead away couple from different religions

Mangaluru, Mar 3: The Ullal police here, who acted swiftly after receiving information that two students hailing from different religions had together visited an ice cream parlour at Thokkottu junction, reached the spot before trouble began to brew, and took the couple away. The incident happened on Wednesday March 2.

A boy belonging to Muslim community and a Christian girl, both students of a city-based college, had come to the said ice cream parlour together in a motor bike. Activists of Hindu organizations had begun to gather in front of the parlour after getting this information.

Ullal police got information about the possibility of atmosphere getting vitiated. They immediately rushed to the spot, led the couple away, and sent them off after cautioning them, it is gathered.

    In Mumbai, there are some programs and dance parties, where only couples are allowed. Nobody asks the religion of anybody's partner.
    Outside India, I saw a board in the entrance of a hotel that read "Only couples are allowed, Not necessarily married to each other."

    Mr. Anil. There should be boundary for everything.Going to the Ice cream parlor with the classmate is fine. But with what attitude you go it is more important. Love sex attraction is important and cant be ignored but more than that life is important. If someone goes to this are more the chances of losing real life. Arguments can be made and posed everywhere. But logical thinking is required. We Christians give more freedom & care to our girls and they behave the worst. I do say very few boys are irresponsible in christian community and the girls take advantage of this and enjoy with all other religion guys and finally catch up a good bakra from their community for life.The God itself has to change our Girls because their not even prayerful until they marry. They learn prayers also after marriage. Take positively girls.

    multiple ways we could see this... first thing as some one highlighted, now a days girls needs some guy to freak out. this has become fashion. Nothing to hide, you will realize if you walk in any of the malls in Mangalore. It could be City Center or it could be Fiza mall. 99% it's filled with youth and students... siting as couples. So. somewhere someone should stop this. It should be parents ideally, but now a days parents roam with their daughters wearing shots exposing themselves... so nothing more could be expect from them. another angle could be, yes , they could be genuine reasons for a boy and a girl to be together. they may be family friends, know each other... in this case nobody can stop them being together in a ice cream parlour. third view is that, how police could make them run away instead of sending the mob away. I really wonder. we are directionless due to the misguidance because of various incidents occurred in recent past... that's all.

    Girls from Christian community must remember that there will be no down-to-earth man that you find in your own community, elsewhere. You will not be demanded dowry, he will not hesitate to cook a meal for you or allowed to wear what you wish or any other cooperation.

    Christian girls who go boy friend shopping to other communities will have a biggest regret of your life because you will not be wholeheartedly accepted there and a shame here when you someday will surely return but yet be accepted, not killed for honor.

    And, men too, don't cook a samhbaar, restrict yourself to your community - you will boost the harmony of the multi-religious society of India.

    Who are these DAL/Sene members ? How come they attack as and when appropriate ? Are they flying high above watchfully with eagle's eye ? Let me tell you, they are jobless youth, paid pocket money by certain rich barons to use them as a pawn. I can't tell you to cease employing them, I have not dictated you to hire them either. If any good sense prevails, discourage their multiplying and find for them/advise suitable employment means.

    However, better if they protect your wife/sister/daughters, please do not bother girls from other communities. Our father/brother/husband is healthy enough to feed and rear us, leave us for our sake.

    Come on boys and girls, the school/college age is for studies, use it for study. At all you want to have an ice cream, have it in the canteen, not on public display.

    One thing you must remember that there are many chances that you go your separate ways once your studies are over. Do not indulge in actions that you will regret later on and one of you may either curtail your further studies/job or blackmail you over what you shared.

    The foundation to your life is your studies. The more laudable you keep it, the more beneficial it will prove later on, than keep it embarrassing to think about.

    Now a days all girls irrespective of any community needs somebody to spend on them and fulfill their needs easily. They go to college not to study but to enjoy life, so what is the use in blaming others when their own parents are not bothered about them!

    Allen, it is sad that your thoughts are going in negative direction. Tell me, didn't you have any feelings towards a girl during your school or college days, no matter what caste or religion the girl is from. Going to ice cream is not a crime. We all have done and only the weak minded people have objection, whereas the fact is they too have gone through this at that age. Be positive and think positive.

    Don't disturb the students, leave them. They are holding their future. 2 days before in Bangalore so many suicide cases happened. Moral police goons not have right to questioning them!!!!!
