Mangaluru, Mar 14: White Doves, which believes in the motto of sharing and caring, is known for its social service especially in caring for the destitute. It is also known for enacting mega plays and Christmas carol shows.
This Lenten season, White Doves has scheduled to stage a Kannada play 'Aa Dinagalu' (Those were the Days) on Sunday, March 20 at Padua School playground at 6 pm sharp.
'Aa Dinagalu' is a light and sound, song and act musical play based on the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Last year during the same season, White Doves had presented 'Anthyadinda Aarambha' (Beginning to the End) musical play, which was a big hit.
The musical drama has been penned by Bannu Fernandes and directed by Corrine Rasquinha. More than a hundred artistes, young as well as old, are taking part in the musical.
Proceeds of the play will be used for the construction of a destitute home run by White Doves, say the organizers.
