Mangaluru: White Doves to present 'Aa Dinagalu' Bible play on Mar 20

Mangaluru, Mar 14: White Doves, which believes in the motto of sharing and caring, is known for its social service especially in caring for the destitute. It is also known for enacting mega plays and Christmas carol shows.

This Lenten season, White Doves has scheduled to stage a Kannada play 'Aa Dinagalu' (Those were the Days) on Sunday, March 20 at Padua School playground at 6 pm sharp.

'Aa Dinagalu' is a light and sound, song and act musical play based on the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Last year during the same season, White Doves had presented 'Anthyadinda Aarambha' (Beginning to the End) musical play, which was a big hit.

The musical drama has been penned by Bannu Fernandes and directed by Corrine Rasquinha. More than a hundred artistes, young as well as old, are taking part in the musical.

Proceeds of the play will be used for the construction of a destitute home run by White Doves, say the organizers.

The entry for the show is free.

    This Bible play 'Aa Dinagalu' being presented by White Doves is the right time as it is Lenten Season for Christians all over the world. My best wishes to Connie Rasquinha for directing the show and also to Bannu Fernandes. My hats off to all the artists who will be taking part in this musical show.
