Mangaluru: Ashok Rakesh D’Souza awarded Doctor of Philosophy

Mangaluru, Mar 17: Ashok Rakesh D’Souza, associate professor and Head of the Department of History at Alva’s College, is awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Kannada University, Hampi.

Rakesh submitted his doctoral thesis titled ‘Basel Mission in the 20th Century Karnataka’. He was under the guidance of Dr Denis Fernandes, associate professor of history, St Aloysius College, here.

Rakesh is the son of Victor and Benedicta D’Souza of Manjeshwar, Kasaragod District.
