Beltangady, Mar 21: In an accident involving a government bus and a motor bike which occurred on Sunday March 20 evening near Gerukatte in the taluk, two persons suffered grave injuries.

The injured are Sinchan Rai (25) from Tannirpantha and Rajesh (24) from Bandaru. Both of them were in serious condition, and taken to Mangaluru for treatment.

Rajesh happens to be an electrician working in Ujire, while Sinchan is employed in a soft drinks unit.
