Kundapur: 34-year-old killed in maxi cab-bike collision

Kundapur, Mar 28: A bike rider was killed on the spot after a maxi cab hit his bike at Halady circle in the taluk on Monday March 28 morning.

The victim has been identified as Ganesh Hegde (34) from Yedady Shiriyara in the taluk.

The bike Hegde was riding was hit by a maxi cab belonging to Saligrama Yakshagana troupe. The maxi cab was moving towards Sagar in Shivamogga district from Kokkarne when the tragedy occurred.

Ganesh Hegde was the son of the late Uday Hegde from Yadady. He was working on daily wages basis in different fields like cooking, security, etc.

Haladi police sub-inspector, Dejappa, visited the spot and registered a case.

A case about the incident stands registered in Shankarnarayana police station.

    Life is short but the life of Ganesh Hegde has been made shorter due to this accident. We do not know who is responsible for this bike and vehicle accidents. May his soul RIP and sympathies to his loved ones.
