'7 Hours to Go' team sells tickets to promote film

Mumbai, Apr 14 (IANS): The cast of filmmaker Saurabh Varma's "7 Hours to Go", including Sandeepa Dhar and Natasa Stankovic on Wednesday planned an innovative strategy to promote the film's teaser -- they sold tickets of Shahrukh Khan's movie "Fan".

Sandeepa, Natasa and director Saurabh Varma went to Cinepolis and sold tickets at the ticket counter to the audience.

On this quirky marketing initiative, Sandeepa said: "Shahrukh Khan is a superstar and we all adore him. Frankly, this was more of our love for him. We have released the teaser of our film '7 Hours to Go' and we wanted the fans of 'Fan' to know this."

Natasa said: "I had a ball and went mad selling tickets. I never visited the inside of a ticket counter and it was an amazing experience to address the customers in this manner. I am honoured to sell tickets of 'Fan' and hope in this process some people will also watch the teaser of our film '7 Hours to Go'!"

The teaser was recently released by Sriram Raghavan and Abbas Mustan and has met with a positive response.

The film also starring Shiv Pandit and Varun Badola is releasing on May 27.
