Mangalore, Oct 15: Rameshwar Thakur, state governor summoned a meeting of all senior officials of the district at the Circuit House here on Sunday October 14.
Various issues regarding the development activities taken place and those to be taken up in the district were discussed in the meeting.
Thakur in the meeting instructed the officials to send a detailed and complete report of the district within three weeks regarding the development activities, those completed and those which are to be taken up in the next six months.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting he said that he had analysed all the development activities taken place in the district. He said that many activities including roads, housing and health with the officers concerned were also discussed.
Communal harmony will be preserved and everything will go on peacefully at Datta Peetha, he said answering to a question on how the situation at Datta Peetha will be controlled during Dattamala Abhiyana.
