Chennai, Oct 17: Mani Shankar Aiyar, union minister for panchayati raj, youth affairs and sports, was admitted to the Apollo Hospital here Wednesday afternoon after he suffered a cardiac attack.
Aiyar, who also holds charge of the development of the northeastern region, complained of chest pain and was rushed to the hospital, informed sources said.
