Mangaluru: Resident of Mulky hangs himself with veil

Mangaluru, May 28: B M Rahamat Ali (41), a resident of the famous Bappa Beary House near Canara Bank Mulky in the taluk, committed suicide at his home on Friday May 27.

Rahamat was an active member of Manish Youth Club, Mulky. He was known for his social service initiatives. He has left behind a wife, and two sons, one of who is two years old and the other, born just two weeks back.

He had visited his wife to look at his son born about two weeks back on Friday morning. After reaching there, he went to his room to take a nap. As he did not come out even after waiting for him for long, the family members opened the door of the room and found that he had hanged himself with the veil of a churidar.
