Ahmedabad, June 12 (IANS): Eleven persons were killed on Sunday when an overloaded auto-rickshaw they were travelling in was hit by a truck in Amreli district of Gujarat.
The dead included three children and three women.
Police said nine passengers in the auto-rickshaw died on the spot in the accident near Chawand village in Lathi tehsil.
Two others died from injuries at a government hospital, Amreli Superintendent of Police R.B. Barot said.
