BJP questions Sonia, Rahul's 'silence' over DySP Ganapati suicide

New Delhi, Jul 15 (DHNS): Questioning the silence of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi over the suicide of police officer M K Ganapati in the Congress ruled Karnataka, the BJP on Thursday said it reflected the Congress leaders’ "lack of sincerity" towards lawlessness in the State.

At a press conference, the BJP spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao demanded immediate sacking of Bengaluru Development Minister K J George and handing over the case to the CBI for an impartial enquiry.

“It indicates an organised foul play. Ganapati died under mysterious circumstances. He had named George in an interview as the one who should be held responsible if anything happens to him. George should be sacked and the state government should order a CBI probe," Rao said.

He said a series of incidents in Karnataka – such as mysterious death of police officer Kallappa Handibag -- showed that ministers and a "muscleman" close to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah were victimising government officers.

"Sonia and Rahul have gone into a deep slumber. They have turned a blind eye to the major incidents in Karnataka. They should apologise to the people. Rahul has time to visit states where he can do politics," Rao commented.

He said that the BJP was demanding a CBI probe since number of scams have been brushed under the carpet by the State police.

After that interview to TV channel, why fans of DySp MKG, stop him from committing suicide?
What effort his wife made to stop him committing suicide?
Why his fans, Wife didn't help him during depression?
Why didn't he find solace from so called well wishers?
Why only after his death all show of sympathy?
In reality, even that is not apparent from jovial pictures of these agitating people in the Assembly.
They only want to take political mileage from his death also.

You are wrong, BJP did not allow Raghupathy Bhatt to contest the 2013 election & neither they give him any post.

They also did ask then CM Mr. Yeddurappa to step down immediately when Justice Santhosh Hegde report arrived, they also sacked minister like Palemar, CC Patil & others who watched Pornographic material during the assembly session, they were suspended from the assembly. They took all decisions without delay. Although the later events what happened cost them the power and the voters punished them.

BJP is communal, corrupt & useless party, but on taking decisions, we can give them some credit.
But Congress is just the opposite, they try to protect the corrupt ministers & stick to keeping them in power, they have been doing this for past so many years, but now people have become smart, they won't buy their corrupt way, how they punished BJP in yr 2013 assembly poll, the same fate is awaited for congress.

Both these parties Congress & BJP are fooling people, unfortunately voters have no alternative.

God save our democracy, and grant our voters some wisdom. Other wise corrupt politicians will make merry & loot.

    Cheers.

There should be uniform policy not hypocrisy by political parties. People are killed, places of worship attacked no cry for CBI inquiry. A police officer commits suicide, all hell breaks loose. If a police officer could not challenge the crooked politicians, how would an ordinary citizen face the criminal elements of political goondas? Another DySP resigns, refuses to withdraw the resignation, and now political party wants her to be reinstated? Are you kidding?

A two times suspended officer during BJP rule in the state due to professional malpractice, later undergoing psychiatric treatment, reveals to the press about the harassment he was subjected to, puts a few slugs into the mattress of a hotel room, mentions a few names in the suicide note and hangs himself. Lo and behold! The ruling party at the center wants to know why opposition leaders are silent on this! Can you beat this? A wiser question would've been 'On what basis he was promoted to DySP's position?'

BJP is nothing but giving tall false & hollow promises and rule and added to their rule they introduce new taxes "Swatchh" and "Krishi Kalyan" for burdening the middle and lower income salaried class but farmers across India still continue suicides.

    Mera Desh Badal Raha Hi....

Rs.15 Lakhs in every Bank Account was a tall poll promise from the 10K Crores election expenses mr. Modiji got it from Modiji's friend businessman Mr. Gautam Adani...and now he and his firm "Adani Wilmart" made 100K Crores by procuring "Daal" from BJP ruled states and selling it in open market at "Whopping Prices" and Modi and his BJP ruled C.M's are quiet!!!

Question is not on monsoon and solar system, it's about silence on two issues. First one is about silence of opposition leaders on suicide of a police officer, who was under psychiatric treatment and second one is on silence of Ruling party leaders who had promised the electorate that they would nab the mass murderer of this country with a top priority as soon as they came to power. And they results are there for everyone to see.

    Dear Shaan, Mangalore,

There is no voting for for a minister to be resigned.

Voting is held for Lok Sabha. Assembly, councils Rajya Sabha Etc., Etc., (in the etc is not coming to a resignation of a Minister).

George was popularly elected by the people for a term of 5 years and he was a minister and the Governor has given him oath at the ion as a minister by the C.M.,

DySp Father and Dysp brother are complaining publicly and to the police against the wife Pavana.

    Committing Suicide is a crime.

No bjp people should have prevented him from committing suicide while he gave his interview to the channel.

    Dear Raj, Bangalore,

Why you people have not prevented Yeddy's wife from committing suicide???!!! and where is your protest???!!!

It is stupidity to expect a comment on a suicide case when the matter is being investigated by a judicial probe. Wait for the probe to be completed, thereafter let us see if the same voice will seek a comment from others. D.K.Ravi's probe bared it all and silenced many.
