Dhaka, Jul 22 (IANS): A woman has been arrested for suspected involvement in the terror attack on a cafe here that killed 22 persons including an Indian, the media said on Friday.
Ruma Akhtar, 22, was picked up on Thursday by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police on charges of her involvement in the attack, bdnews24 reported.
Biju Mia, father of Ruma Akhtar, told the media that detectives took her away from their house saying she was a suspect in the July 1 attack.
"We have heard about the detention of one Ruma from (residents)," a local police official said.
