22 killed in Afghan clash


Kabul, July 22 (IANS): At least 22 persons were killed in a clash in Afghanistan's Kunduz province on Friday.

"Eighteen Taliban rebels were killed as security forces attacked Qala-e-Zal district," Xinhua news agency quoted an army official as saying.

The remaining victims were four security personnel, while six others were injured.
