Mangaluru, Jul 27: In connection with a complaint of sexual harassment registered at Konaje police station, policemen booked an accused under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested him.
The arrested accused has been identified as Chandrashekhar alias Rajesh (35), who hails from Asaigoli Kakkemajalu. Reportedly he worked as a cooly and also sometimes as a bus conductor.
It is said that Rajesh had sexually harassed a minor girl residing in his neighbourhood and the girl's mother had learnt about this act when she was bathing her daughter.
The accused was produced in court.
