Mumbai, Nov 26: Bollywood hottie Bipasha Basu has broken one unwritten rule of hers – that is, never to work on the New Year’s night.

Every year, on the last day of December, Bipasha keeps herself free. She doesn’t shoot for any movie, she doesn’t participate in any shows and she doesn’t perform on stage. But this year is going to be different.

Bipasha has agreed to dance on stage on December 31 at the New Year party hosted by J W Marriott Hotel, Mumbai.

The sultry siren will strut her stuff to various dance numbers including her famous “Beedi Jalai Le”. She will perform for about half an hour and the whole act will be divided into three segments of ten minutes each.

Bipasha says she has broken her rule of not working on New Year’s eve because she wants to do new and unpredictable things in 2008. So the Dec 31 performance is her “first step into this change”.

Reports have it that Bipasha is charging a huge amount for her performance. It is believed she has demanded Rs 90 lakh for a half hour show.

Bipasha admits that she will get a whopping fee, but she refuses to disclose the amount.

Tickets for Bipasha’s New Year performance have reportedly been priced at Rs 11,500. A lot of people, including NRIs, are expected to attend the show.
