Kundapur, Aug 2: A woman accidentally fell into a pond and lost her life on Sunday July 31 morning. The tragic incident occurred at Gudri Hokkoli in Karkunje village in the taluk.
Sujata (38), a resident of Hokkoli, lost her life in this incident. She had gone to the backward to collect firewood from firewood stack. When collecting them, she suddenly slipped and fell down directly into the pond located there. The family members came to know about it sometime thereafter, but it was too late.
A report about the incident was filed in the police station in the town.
