Mangaluru: Police arrest two, seize cash, ganja

Mangaluru, Aug 2: Police personnel of Kavoor station arrested two persons, who were found to be carrying ganja in their possession on August 1. They seized from their possession Rs 13,680 said to be sale proceeds of ganja, 125 grams of ganja, and a motor bike.

The arrested men are Manjunath Poojary alias Manoj (27) from Urundadigudde, and Shariff alias Muhammed Shariff (40) from Rayikatte.

After having been tipped off that ganja was being sold within the area of Kavoor police station, station house officer, Nataraj, raided the spot with his personnel. A case stands registered against the duo.
