Puttur, Aug 3: Shabda (16), a first PU student, killed herself through hanging at the house of her grandmother at Nelyady on Tuesday August 2. A report about this incident was filed in Uppinangady police station.
Shabda was a native of Sowarpet, being the daughter of Vasant from Somwarpet. She was getting PU education at the government PU college, Uppinangady. She was staying at the residence of her grandmother at Hosamajalu for the convenience of attending PU college.
A complaint about this incident was registered in Uppinangady police station. Policemen are verifying all the de tails including calls made over the cellphone of the student to find out the reason for her suicide and zero in on third persons if any involved with the case.
