Mangaluru, Aug 3: Five students of Alvas College, Moodbidri have passed CA-IPCC-Group 1 examination. Now they are eligible to appear for next stage examination.

As many as 16 students from the college had appeared for the examination held in May, 2016. Five students among them have been successful during their first attempt. In the examination held for 400 marks, Ramesh has secured 231, Laxmikanth 217, Sumantha 214, Prathibha H C 205 and Naresh 200 marks.
Alvas Education foundation president Dr M Mohan Alva praised the efforts of students. Professor Rajashree Rao had provided guidance and College principal Dr Kurain encouraged the students, stated a press release from the institute.
