The thieves entered the temple by breaking the main door. They also stole two CCTV cameras installed at the temple apparently to avoid being captured in images.

The items stolen include Vigraha Kavacha and all items are mainly of silver.

The theft came to light when children arrived at the temple for early morning prayers, police sources said.

ACP Shruthi, circle inspector Belliappa and fingerprint experts visited the spot.

Had this been some other religious place other than a temple, then the narrative would have been...

    Secularism under threat..
    Communalism/fascism at its peak..
    Threat to existence...
    Modi is responsible..
Parameshwar would have landed in Bajpe early morning..
RG & kejri would be fighting for who gets the first available flight to Mangalore...
Komu souharda would have been in streets early morning...
    Obama would have been petitioned...
Rajyasabha would have been adjourned for whole session...
Lalu, Nitish, Mulayam, yechury & their likes would have issued big statements...
Barkha, Rajdeep & co would be busy full day...
JNU would have held a demonstration & kejri junior KK would have hurled some more abuses...

But now, everything is quiet.....The reason no votebanks to cater to....

Ya... this is the venom which these people spread by giving a religious angle to every theft & broken glass which suits their agenda....

So next time whenever there is an unfortunate theft, please appeal to these leaders to behave in the same way as they did now....

..as per the latest logic..if this is by majorities then its theft, if by others then its attack..check the truth of recent TUMKUR church attack, and the statement of religious head, and the politicians and the DW readers..the real truth already come out, but no one talking about now..

Thank god it happened at a temple, had it been in a church, we would have intolerance debate again in the national media, Barkha Dutt & Rajdeep would be on the forefront. Everyone would blame Modi, BJP, RSS etc. saying minorities are being targeted and they are not safe under Modi's rule. Parliament would have been stalled. Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi would have visited for spot inspection and given statements against Modi. Now nothing of that sort will happen
