New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.6 degrees celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The Met has forecast light rain later during the day.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 36 degrees celsius.
"It was a partly cloudy morning. The day through out is likely to remain cloudy with possibility of light rain during the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded 36.5 degrees celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 26.4 degrees celsius, a notch below the season's average.
