Udupi, Aug 9: Police personnel attached to Kaup station in the taluk arrested a minor who reportedly broke into Blue Matsya guest house at Kaup Padu village and tried to steal valuables from there.
The juvenile delinquent is from Majur village. He is 16. On Sunday morning, he had entered the said guest house located near Kaup beach by breaking its lock. He was caught in the act by policemen.
Police sub-inspector Jagadish Reddy was on night patrol duty. As soon as he was tipped abut the above incident, he rushed to the guest house with some police personnel and took the minor into ocustody. The minor was presented before JuvenileJutice Board, police sources said.
