Udupi: Man bound for Goa collapses, dies at travel office

Udupi, Aug 10: A person who had planned to travel to Goa on the night of Monday August 8 night collapsed suddenly in the travel agency office and lost his life.

The victim has been identified as Praveen P Bhat (50), brother-in-law of Dr Shashikiran Achar of Bakyar House, Kanajar village, Hiriyadka.

Bhat had visited the town for Nag Panchami festival. He had booked return ticket to Goa in a travel agency located near the service bus stand here. On Monday night, he had come to the agency office to board the bus. When waiting for the arrival of the bus, he collapsed suddenly on the chair on which he was sitting. He was found dead on the spot.
