Shivamogga, Aug 10: "BJP is sure to come to power in Karnataka during the next assembly election. There is no doubt that B S Yeddyurappa will be our next chief minister," said leader of the opposition in legislative council, K S Eshwarappa.
Eshwarappa said that he had given vent to the demand of lacs of party activists that party's organizational activities should be conducted in an orderly manner. "Just because I voiced this opinion, it would be wrong to project as if I have differences with Yeddyyurappa. BJP is a big family where existence of small issues is normal. We will thrash out all issues at the core committee meeting being held at Bengalure on August 14," he stated.
Reacting to questions over formation of Sangolli Rayanna Brigade, he said that this organization is being built with good intentions. He said this organization is not meant to function against anyone and that he is not the founder of the organization as is being made out.

When media persons questioned him about Yeddyurappa's chances of becoming chief minister at a time when BJP is giving importance to people younger than 75 years of age, he said that central leaders have made Yeddyurappa the state president of the party as they have found him to be suitable candidate for chief minister's post. He added that he will abide by the decision of the central leadership in this issue.
