Mumbai, Dec 2 : It's really surprising that country's ex-Defence Minister, George Fernandes, who was adored with highest honours in the armed forces, during his term at the union government, has arrived at the venue of Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (NGO), on Saturday, December 1 night. George Fernandes was invited to address the gathering at the programame, organized by Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti, at Bunts Sangh, located at Kurla, on Saturday, December 1.   However, the organizers had indeed a surprise when their native Mangalorean, George Fernandes reached the venue by a auto rickshaw in time, owing to the traffic snarls on Sion – Chembur Eastern Express Highway, in the Greater Mumbai.

"This is the true son of the soil, none other than George Fernandes! exclaimed Thonse Jayashreekrishna A Shetty founder of NGO, when he alighted at the venue at an appointed time.
