Udupi: CID probe ordered into Bhaskar murder case, CI Girish transferred

Udupi, Aug 16: Days after the murder of businessman Bhaskar Shetty came to light, the state government has ordered CID inquiry into the case.

The decision to conduct a CID probe was taken by the state home ministry on Tuesday August 16 based on a request by Udupi district in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj.

At present, ASP Sumana is the investigation officer in the case.

In his letter to the home ministry, Madhwaraj had urged the government to order a CID probe to bring out the true facts of the case and to ensure that the culprits are arrested and justice is done both to Udupi district as well as Bhaskar's family. He had termed the murder as a 'black spot' on Udupi district. 

 

Madhwaraj had also requested the home ministry to transfer Manipal circle inspector S V Girish, who is facing a departmental inquiry over allegations that he had provided 'VIP treatment' to the accused and delayed the filing of FIR in the case. Based on his request, Girish has been transferred from Manipal. His new posting is not yet known.

Bhaskar Shetty went missing on July 28, and a few days later, it came to light that he was murdered and his body burnt to ashes and thrown into three three rivers in Karkala along with other materials used in the crime. His wife Rajeshwari, son Navaneeth, astrologer Niranjan Bhat, Niranjan's father Srinivas and companion Raghavendra have been arrested and are presently in judicial custody.

    God must intervene in this case and bring out truth,somewhere something games going on this case to hide the truth and only he can reveal, delayed but hope not denied, ( there is no secret for God, no one hide from him
    They delayed until destroy the proof, if public, media was silent and news was not aired it was completely forgotten ,
    murder took in home may blood sledded, who cleaned the House, He went home, his car, slippers there wife is driving the key is with her, what happen his mobile, valet, ….
    when Baskar mother gave complaint and they took serious accepted and imminently took action everything coming out,

    BJP SHOULD REMOVE M R SHETTY FROM THE POST IMMEDIATELY OTHERWISE BUNTS MAY OPT TO GO WITH P.M. WHO HAS TAKEN INITIATIVE TO CID PROBE AND IF THE CASE RIGHTLY PROBED SHETTY WILL COME OUT OPEN.
    IF CI GIRISH REVEALS THE TRUTH UNDER PRESSURE THEN THE CASE GETS U-TURN AND NOBODY CAN SAVE SHETTY.

    One thing always troubles me is if the Govt. officer found doing anything wrong or not upto the law, they are been transferred from that place to the other.
    My point is by transferring what are Govt is going to prove? does the particular city makes the officers corrupt? or the city they are been transferred to is the place where all saints were born so that the corrupt officer repent for their deeds?
    Shocking to know that the people of India are also very much comfortable with this action of transfer of the officers. Are we forgetting that they have been transferred in India itself and we are giving those officers another opportunity to show their corrupt talent.
    Instead suspend such officers from duty for specific time and make a strict rule if the officers suspended for more than 2 times then terminate them why do we all need such officers in the country let the deserved candidate get that position.

    how can we believe that the CID team will do the investigation on right angle. even this team also been influenced & make the investigation like circle inspector Girish & close the case. bcoz as we saw the money & influence is the main actor in this case. when the govt is active & very strict then only this kind of irregularity can be stopped. otherwise corruption will win the case.

    As per report slain Bhasker shetty was a soft spoken frindly attidude in nature without enemies. He has worked hard throughout his life with sincere manner and succeded to build an multicrore empire by providing maximum facilities / comforts to his wife and son. Since he was an NRI successful business tycoon for many years he has contributed huge foreign exchange and other relevant taxes to Govt of India. Therefore Govt. of India investigating agencies investigate this case thoroughly and seriously. Since he was murdered in barbaric manner for no fault of his therefore the accused should be punished with capital punishment.
    We have a faith in our judicial system. I refer a case of Miss Jasica Lal murder case in Delhi, the main accused Manu Sharma who was born in a respectable family background with a silver spoon in his mouth the son of a central cabinet minister of the year 1999 and also close relative of Ex- president of India Late Shanker dayal Sharma was not pardoned or aquitted for his crime. Presently he is serving the life sentence.
    Bhasker Shetty's murder case was more barbaric and gruesome then the aforereferred. Therefore to prevail peace and harmony in civilized society the accused should be punished severely without mercy.

    No govt of India staff goes to work..they go for their daily collections.Except Indian postal dept..anybody takes govt salary are corrupt.I am ashamed to tell you...A supreme court Judge telling ..Judges are corrupt. you expect what ?     Latter on a women Shakereh Khaleeli murdered and buried in her own courtyard by swamiji after drugging her. It comes to know after three years. All for property in richmond town bangalore for worth more than 200 crores.
    People like maria susiraj killed neeraj grover along with her boy friend Jerome Mathews and chopped body like doing to prepare 'keema'.
    Here also something hiding. May be Naveneet and Niranjan are friends and used bhatt for only murdering purposes. Something even people from bhaskar shetty family are also hiding. Looks like it also case of property.

    I dont think CID can find which police could not find in almost three weeks.The police and politicians wanted to wash their hands by handing over the probe to CID.The people of the district are the spectators in this case.
    Mother gulabi lost her son, his wife and niranjan cleared the obstacle on their way at a heave price and people of the village are spectators.

    Why circle inspector girish has not been suspended yet? If the police are struggle to get the evidence today it is because of girsh. I dont think the people of Udupi district wants to see him in uniform.

    But now who is witness in the case?
    Where is shettys wallet, mobile phone etc? Is there any personal dairy recovered? Is there shettys laptop music player etc?
    There is a long way to go..

    Now all accused are in judicial custody, hence CID/Police have no access to them...only thing they could do is go to 'Homa Kunda' and Rivers to do Investigative research...

    Locking the stable after horses left the stable...Niranjan and Company must be having a last laugh at these idiots...no doubt why he is smiling in Court as Bridegroom...

    Now some Kalappa or Doomappa CID DySP with 6 other staff will visit Udupi and collect all evidence!!!...meet current IO Dr Sumana, eat Manji fry and go back to Carlton House, Bangalore and produce 1000 page charge sheet with 10,000 errors...and make himself look like a joker during cross examination by a famed defense lawyer...

    Girish is the biggest culprit. By delaying FIR he has given ample time for the murders to destroy all the proof in a systematic way. Just transferring is not enough, he should be charged for helping the murderers and stripped from the position. Unfit to be a protector of law and order!

    Most of the things in the case are well planned & systimaticaly managed by the party to the crime. It is very challening job for the coming investigating officer to meet the ends of justice. If falied,It is going to be classic case of miscaariage of justice, ofcourse Previous IO need to be suspended and i strogly belive that alomost all material evidences are distryed, for which previous IO shaLl be made accountable for the crimnal act of ommision and commission.

    Good decision by Home department.Mere transfer?Can Home department issue a communique with regarding the even of an (murder)accused allowed to sit in front seat of the police vehicle while CI sat in the back seat!!Is it happened in police history of Karnataka?Police took meal with accused was another episode beside registering FIR!!!!Suspension of investigation (whole) team be they Highest rank to PC is required.A black dot for police department and that was done because of.....Punish them
