Warm Friday morning in Delhi, rains likely


New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): It was a warm Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.

The Met has forecast a generally cloudy sky with possibilities of rain during the day.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degree Celsius.

"The morning was warm. But rain is likely later during the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m was recorded at 81 per cent.

Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 33.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.
