Mangaluru, Aug 24: Santhosh Kumar Rai Boliyar, Mangaluru Vidhana Sabha constituency BJP president has alleged that Karnataka state government has joined hands with anti India elements. He was speaking after participating in the protests held at Thokkottu junction against the anti India stand of Amnesty International and the state government which justified it.

He urged that Amnesty International be deported soon. Zilla panchayat member Dhanalaxmi Gatti speaking on the occasion said that the state government which supports the international organization creating anti India feelings among the youth has no moral right to continue in power. “Everybody should fight across party lines to drive away the organization which shouts slogans against soldiers protecting the country,” she said.

The protesters demanded the arrests of those who shouted anti India slogans and the suspension of police who acted inhumanly with the students.
