Udupi: Three from district end lives in separate incidents

Udupi, Aug 25: Arvind (34), son of Mahabala Naik from Mala village of Karkala taluk committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree on Tuesday August 23 afternoon. It is said that he was frustrated on account of personal problems. A case about the incident was registered at the rural police station here.

Vanita Hande (40), wife of Anil Hande from Handattu in Kotatattu village ended her life by jumping into the well of her house on Wednesday August 24 morning. A case relating to this suicide was registered at Kota police station.

Sujith Shetty (31) from Kumragodu near Brahmavar, had tried to end his life by consuming poison, having been stressed over personal issues on Tuesday August 23 night. He had become very ill. Although he was provided treatment at a hospital at Brahmavar, he breathed his last on Wednesday August 24 afternoon. A case of unnatural death was filed at Brahmavar police station relating to this incident.
