Theft at Ranji cricketer R Samarth's house

Bengaluru, Aug 25: A woman, who tried to meet her son's demand to get a Bullet motor bike as gift for his birthday found herself behind the bars instead. Because, the plan she had chosen was to steal from the house of upcoming Ranji cricketer, R Samarth.
Samarth lives in fifth main road Sanjay Nagar here. After gold and silver ornaments went missing from the house of Samarth, the family filed police complaint. Sanjay Nagar police, who registered the case, questioned the domestic help of the house, Gowri, who was working there since three years, and her son on suspicion, and came to know the truth.
Ravishankar, an executive of State Bank of India, lives in Sanjay Nagar along with son, Samarth, and other family members. Gowri happened to be a trusted person for the family because of her honesty and earnest behaviour. Ravishankar used to extend financial help to her for education of children in addition to her regular salary, while Samarth on his own paid her Rs 2,000 per month for family maintenance without the knowledge of his parents.
Gowri's son's birthday was recently celebrated. To fund his demand for a new Bullet motor bike on his birthday, she planned to steal from the house of Samarth. Taking care not to be caught, she got a duplicate key of the house made. A few days back, she called her children to inform that there was no one in the house.
Gowri and her children entered this house with the help of duplicate key. Her children,Yogesh and Deepa, opened the lockers and took out golden and diamond ornaments after the which the family fled, as per information they gave to police.
