20 killed in Nepal road accident


Kathmandu, Aug 26 (IANS): At least 20 persons were killed and 17 others injured when a bus plunged 100 metres down into a river in Nepal's Chitwan district on Friday.

The accident took place along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section at 4.45 a.m., The Himalayan Times reported.

The bus plunged into the Trishuli river, police said.
