New Delhi, Aug 26 (IANS): It was a pleasant Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
The Met has forecast cloudy day ahead with the possibility of rain.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
"Friday morning was pleasant. Sky later during the day is likely to be cloudy with possibilities of light rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 82 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 26.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
