8 police personnel killed in Turkey bombing


Ankara, Aug 26 (IANS): At least eight Turkish police personnel were killed and 50 others injured in a car bombing in Turkey's Sirnak province on Friday.

The bomb hit a police station at 6.40 a.m., Xinhua news agency reported. The attack was reportedly carried out by the outlawed Kurdish Worker's Party (PKK).
