Mangaluru, Aug 26: It was a dazzling, star-studded night as Kadri Cricketers Club celebrated Krishna Janmashtami, particularly Mosaru Kudike, with a brilliant 'Rhythmic Nite-16' musical show at Kadri grounds here on Thursday August 25.
The star attraction of the show was Sandalwood actor turned politician Ramya (Divya Spandana), who was attending the Kadri Cricketers' Club annual event for the first time.
Prior to the stage programme, Oxygen dance group enthralled the audience with their performances.
Bollywood and Sandalwood playback singers Shruthi Prakash, Nakul Abhayankar, Mahua, Anchal Dutta and Supriya Lohith entertained the gathering with her beautiful singing.
Another highlight was laser show which was done for first time in the history of Rhythmic Nite.
A galaxy of other stars also entertained the jam-packed crowd. Dance crews performed scintillating dances to peppy numbers, compelling the crowd also to join in.
District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai, food and civil supplies minister U T Khader, chief whip in legislative council Ivan D'Souza, AJ Institute chairman A J Shetty, managing director of Bhandary constructions Laxmish Bhandary, corporator D K Ashok, Shashidar Hegde, Amrith Kadri, youth congress president Mithun Rai, Mohan Koppala, Ratnakar Jain, Prakash Bhat, U T Ifthikar and others were also present on this occasion.
Ramya was felicitated at the occasion.
During Mosaru Kudike, young men formed pyramids and broke the curd pots amid loud cheering from the huge crowd that gathered at the venue.
RJ Anurag and Soujanya Hegde compered the programme.
