New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS): It was a sunny Sunday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
"The sky will be generally cloudy throughout the day. Light rains are likely to occur towards the afternoon or evening on Sunday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 81 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 36 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
