New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS): To celebrate the spirit of teaching, publishing and education services enterprise S Chand Group honoured renowned educationists here on Sunday.
During the 'Teaching Excellence Awards 2016' ceremony, teachers were awarded in various categories: star innovation, use of multimedia, classroom star manager, rising star, star lead teacher, super star and star contributor.
Bharti Gandhi from City Montessori School, Lucknow, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Tagore International School from New Delhi bagged five awards, including Gauri Sen who bagged two awards.
"This year, we focused on some pragmatic solutions and innovative ideas on how to re-invent schools for the future where learning will be more and more personalised as per students caliber," Himanshu Gupta, Managing Director of S Chand, said at the event.
